He is just so cute. He's doing very well -- sleeping, eating, peeing, the whole nine yards. And, as you can see, being very cute! Here he is, modeling the Santa hat his Grammy Robin gave him.

It's a Boy!
At long last, what you've all been waiting for... The Baby! Here's Isaac Alton Brown, who made his entrance into the world at 7:08 am on Monday, November 5, 2007, weighing in at 7 pounds, 14.9 ounces. He's doing great, and is incredibly cute, if you ask me. He's got his father's hands and his mother's sideburns and cowlick, oddly enough. But, enough talking -- here he is:

Month Nine
The home stretch! I'm still feeling good, no problems thus far. The baby is ready to launch -- head down, facing back, ready to go. The midwife said to stay away from sugar in these last couple of weeks, because the baby could gain a lot of weight, but seriously...it's Halloween, there's chocolate everywhere, and I'm pregnant. But anyway, here's the standard belly-shot, plus a few extras in the holiday spirit. Enjoy!

Month Seven
Yikes! Things are starting to get a bit cramped for Baby, who has lately taken to kicking anything that pushes on my belly (such as seatbelts, hands, or the midwife's doppler -- which made even the midwife jump). Actually yesterday, I went to take a really deep breath, only to have it cut short by the baby jabbing into my diaphragm, much to my surprise. So we've determined now that the baby is claustrophobic. I'm sorry little one, but tough cookies, you'll just have to bear with it for a couple more months!

Month Six
This picture was taken at 26 1/2 weeks -- a time I actually remember, because it was just a couple days ago. So to answer everyone's questions.... I'm feeling great! I get occasional heartburn (due to coffee, most often...grr), but that's easily taken care of with some pretty tasty pregnancy-Tums (not really Tums, they're made for pregnant women).
The only issue happened when Bob and I went camping up in Acadia National Park a couple weeks ago, when I slept on an air mattress and messed up my hip. But, after a couple of visits to the chiropractor and some swimming, I'm feeling much better, and have learned that the only camping I'll be doing for the next couple months is in a hotel.

Month One
Finally!
Due to popular demand, I've finally created a blog to chronicle my not-so-gradual, miraculous transition to a whale-like state (otherwise known as pregnancy). So here it is, in all it's glory! Eventually, I'll be posting pictures on here of someone much smaller and cuter than me, so stay tuned!
And here it begins....
