Finally, an Update!

Sorry it's been so long. We just redid the downstairs bathroom, and we've redone Isaac's room, and they look fabulous, if I do say so myself. Isaac just turned one on the fifth (yay!) but we had the party on the 9th, since we had to wait for the weekend. Turnout was good, he got some lovely annoying toys which he really likes. Cake of course was a big hit as well. I'm gonna make this short, cause Isaac is currently yelling about having to take a nap. But here it is! Oh, and to explain...for Halloween, Isaac, me, and Bob were the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe :)

At Long Last..

..An update! Who would have thought. Isaac is very cute, and kinda scooching and wiggling around. He absolutely loves his jumper, and is taking regular naps in the afternoon (yay!). Overall, things are going well, and we have a puppy, who Isaac also loves, as he demonstrates by grabbing her nose, ears, and fur whenever he gets a chance. He also enjoys fruit, pickles, and long walks in the park :) (Oh, and don't worry, those bottles were empty!)
The puppy, by the way, is Tesla -- named for the units of measuring magnetic flux (by Nicholae Tesla -- smart guy). It was the most feminine engineering term we could come up with. Figured we'd continue the trend, since the cat's name is Diesel :)

Squeeks, Squeals, and Other Cuteness

Isaac is so close to rolling over, all he has to do is tuck in his arm and he'd go. Several times now I've taken out the camera, only to have him roll right onto his back again. Ah well, someday he'll do it when I least suspect. In the meantime, all caution must be taken to make sure he doesn't, say, roll off the table. It's hard to believe that before I know it, he'll be running around, knocking things over, wagging his tail...no wait, that's a dog. But still, they grow so fast :) I can't wait for Isaac to start talking and running and asking questions, but in the mean time, I am seriously enjoying this stage. Enough chatter -- here he is, in all his adorable glory:

The Munchkin

Here's the video I promised -- a little late, but hey, I've got a baby, I'm busy. ;) He's doing a lot better holding himself up, which you can't really tell from this video...he still isn't a big fan of Tummy Time. And don't mind the picture of me, I had been sick.
